About me and the Name “Oneboxaday”
English isn’t my first language. I usually write in my native language first and then use translation tools to help with English.
Thank you very much for your understanding..
I’m a mom of two, and most of my days are spent moving between caring for my kids, taking care of our home, and teaching piano. Life feels a bit like music — sometimes busy, sometimes calm, with its own rhythm and pauses. I’ve learned to find meaning in that everyday flow.
Our home is lively. Besides my two kids, we have a cat who quietly keeps us company, and quite a few fish swimming in their tank. I also enjoy growing small plants from seeds, watching them slowly sprout and grow. These small routines bring me a sense of calm and patience, something I try to pass on to my children as well.
In my quieter moments, I like to share things I’ve actually used and experienced in daily life. These can be children’s items, household tools, small decorations, or simple little finds that make everyday routines a bit easier or more enjoyable. I don’t look for perfection — just things that naturally fit into real life.
Sometimes I come across items that quietly surprise me. Not because they’re impressive, but because they solve a small problem or bring a bit of ease. It could be something that helps during snack time, something that simplifies a daily task, or something that simply makes our home feel warmer.
Books are another part of our everyday life. I love reading with my kids, turning pages together, and watching their curiosity grow. These moments are slow and simple, but they stay with us.
I also enjoy picking up small home decor pieces that reflect our family’s personality. Nothing elaborate — just things that make the space feel lived-in and comfortable. Along with plants, they help create a home that feels welcoming and personal.
Packages tend to arrive at our door fairly often — usually because I’m the one who ordered them. One day, my husband joked, “At this point, you might as well call it one box a day.” It was said half-laughing, but the name stuck.
There’s something quietly satisfying about opening a box I chose for our everyday life. Not because it’s a surprise gift, but because it’s a small moment to pause and see how something new might fit into our routine. That feeling is what Oneboxaday is really about.
Motherhood has taught me to appreciate the small, ordinary moments — the ones that don’t look special at first, but slowly become meaningful. A favorite mug in the morning, a calm afternoon at home, a small thing that simply works. I want to share these experiences and little finds with others, whether you’re a busy parent or someone who enjoys slowing down and noticing everyday life.
These aren’t just products. They’re small parts of a real life, shared as honestly as possible.
