A Labubu Plush That Feels More Like Comfort Than a Collectible

What stood out to me most was the color palette. All the colors are solid and gentle, and in real life they feel much softer than they appear in photos. The Toffee version, especially, blends in easily. Placed next to a bag or resting on a shelf, it doesn’t demand attention.

The packaging is simple but thoughtful. Inside the box, there’s a small card and a fabric pouch made just for Labubu. The face looks clean — something I always hope for — though the blush is slightly uneven. I’m not sure if that’s intentional or just part of the charm.

The texture is soft and fuzzy. I did pause for a moment, wondering whether the fur might tangle over time, but for now it feels fine. One ear leans slightly, and the head can turn about 90 degrees. I didn’t try to push it further. Some things are better left as they are.

When I first saw this Labubu series, I honestly didn’t quite understand the price. But the longer it sits nearby, the more sense it makes. The expression is hard to define — part smile, part mischief. With those tiny teeth and raised brows, it almost looks like it’s smiling while pretending not to.

That ambiguity is probably what keeps me looking at it.

I didn’t expect to feel this excited opening a Labubu blind box. Still, there was that familiar thought right before opening — what if this one is the Secret?

It wasn’t. Maybe I’m just overthinking. It is Toffee, the toffee-colored Labubu from the Exciting Macaron series. And for my first Labubu, I love it!

Blind boxes really do something to you. Even when you tell yourself you’re just opening one, it’s hard not to imagine what could be inside. Maybe that’s why Labubu still draws a crowd — you often see people opening boxes right after buying them.

The Exciting Macaron series is the first generation of this collection, with each Labubu named after a dessert flavor. There’s Lychee Berry in a soft pink tone, while the secret edition comes in deeper chocolate-like shades, called Chestnut Cocoa.
